#StourportHour is a hashtag used on Twitter.

It provides local businesses, charities, event organisers and the public a platform to network, share news, build local connections and support causes that benefit the community.

Simply search Twitter for #StourportHour and select ‘latest’ from the options to see all the tweets containing the hashtag in your timeline even if you don’t follow the sender.

The best way to get involved is to use the #StourportHour hashtag every Wednesday from 7-8pm, and also follow @Stourport_Hour on twitter so we can like and retweet the best content.

Add Stourport Hour to your calendar

You don’t have to wait until Wednesday though, feel free to continue the conversation and use the hashtag anytime.

As evidenced by our immensely successful big sibling #WorcestershireHour, Twitter tends to work best for local needs when people use it at the same time. #StourportHour provides a weekly focus between 7-8pm each Wednesday.

Currently, Stourport Hour is being managed by multiple Stourport locals to ensure continuity and consistency:

• Larry Brangwyn (@LarryBrangwyn) – Managing Director at Noble Digital

• Bethan Miles (@bethanmiles_) – Director at Aliciyo and The Impact Mentor

Stourport Hour doesn’t belong to any business or individual. It’s a way for local people, businesses and charities to engage with one another and build meaningful connections.

Like many local hours, activity can wax and wane over time, this incarnation of Stourport Hour is simply the latest effort to spread the word and get people involved.

That’s great, thank you so much! It’s important that we all pull together to help one another in this difficult time.

Thankfully, there are options available. We wrote an update about this – find out more here.
