Now in the process of formation, the Stourport BoB Club (short for Business over Breakfast) is a fortnightly meeting of local businesses and institutions who share opportunities and contacts in the region. The group is low pressure, and allows people to network and make connections over a cooked breakfast.
The group already has more than 25 people attending the first meeting and the organisers look forward to welcoming more visitors.
The club will meet every two weeks on a Wednesday. The first meeting is on Wednesday 18th September at 7am, at De Beers Garden Centre.
First opened in 2004, BoB clubs are now operated throughout the UK, Canada, the USA, India and the Republic of Ireland. The BoB Club website describes how the clubs work:
“Members refer business to each other, meaning up to 30+ members could be promoting and recommending your products and services by word-of-mouth to their contacts.
As well as improving your presentation skills; boosting your confidence and gaining referrals, you will form strong relationships and synergies with professional business owners who are there to help you.
BoB club members get to know, like and trust each other and are happy to recommend each other’s products and services, generating quality referrals, for you to convert into good quality business.”
